I am completely overwhelmed at this moment. I almost have no words...almost. I have felt God's peace before but never like this. I do not feel I have ever heard God as loudly as today.
Most of you know I have been praying to soften Artie's heart about adoption. Tonight during American Idol, Artie tells me that he has something for me. He brought me this folded and crumpled piece of paper. Artie tells me that at work he had an overwhelming feeling that he needed to look up the Home Depot info about adoption. He said that he went right away and printed it off for me to read.
I have not brought up adoption in a while. I decided to step back and see where God led our hearts. Today I received my answer. Today I am so amazed. Today I heard God.
To top it off...I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow to see why we have not been able to conceive.

A post from the past...
Today I was looking through pictures from college and it made me miss those majorette days. It was so fun. Band camp, midnight practice, home games, away games, inside jokes, making silly tee shirts/costumes and Contest of Champions...it was some of the best years of my life. My best friends were the friends I made while twirling. Ahhh....(I promise I will not brake out into the chorus of "Memories")
This post was just about memories from the past. Here are some pictures from the majorette years...and yes, I do change my hair color as much as I change underwear.

Glitterville
I am in LOVE with a new vendor I found. The company is called Glitterville and it is fabulous!!!! It is actually designed in Knoxville which is even better. The styles that we ordered worked perfectly with the new monkey tree. So I had a great day on Friday redecorating the monkey tree. If you get a chance, hop over to www.glitterville.com and see some pretty amazing things. I am so very excited that we will be getting some Halloween things in soon as well!!! Here are some pics of the fun new things at the shop!
The monkey tree with the Glitterville ornaments and garland. It is the new whimsical look...with more to come!
A monkey from the collection...we have many different sizes and colors!
Glitterville balls.....fabulous!!
(pictures do not do them justice)
Fun Easter display!

Cold Case
Well, well, well. I have a bone to pick with TNT. You see, we had this deal going and now it is OVER. Artie has to go into to work really early and gets up at 4am. I usually wake up with him (I'm not really sure why) and stay awake until about 6. Being up at that crazy hour, I really appreciated the fact that I did not have to watch the info-mercial (is that one word or two) on The Magic Bullet again.
Ok...so i say "have to" but we all know we have willingly watched it.
We had a deal that I would help improve their viewership (Audra- is this a real word?) if they would have Cold Case on at 4am. TNT played 2 episodes from 4-6 and by that time I was ready to go back to sleep. But now...it comes on at 3am. 3AM!!! Who in their right mind wakes up to watch it at 3am. Not me. Not their loyal sometimes viewer. So this is goodbye TNT. I will no longer enjoy the flashbacks or the grateful look of the deceased when Detective Rush arrests the killer. So long dear friend....it's back to The Magic bullet.

so I asked if he wanted some milk afterwards....
Saturday Artie bought a few donuts for me to eat on my way to church Sunday morning. I leave for church pretty early and NEVER have time to actually cook. I am sitting in the living room Saturday night and Jackson goes missing. I do not think anything about it because our house has lots of places he could be. A little time goes by and I start to hear some rustling in the kitchen. I get up to see what is going on and find Jack....enjoying my donuts. All 3 of them. He enjoyed them so much that he sat and licked the floor for an hour afterwards (trying to find all the crumbs). About an hour later I found him sprawled out on the bed in a sugar coma where he stayed until morning.

Check out Abby as a pirate...if it does not put a smile on your face, I'm not sure anything will!
Please continue to be a prayer warrior for this sweet little girl and her family.
Highs-
1. Audra's wedding shower was this weekend! We had a blast! It is so exciting being a part of her wedding. This time last year I was praying for her to find someone that she can spend her life with. God answered my prayer in a BIG way!
2. We were so blessed to have a GREAT month at The Christmas Shop! During a time when the economy is terrible, God does provide!
3. Artie Is Home!!!! He is finally done traveling for a few months and will be home! Which is great because I am a big scaredy cat.
Lows-

Audra's Shower Weekend
This weekend I traveled to Murfreesboro to host a bridal shower for Audra. What a great weekend! Audra came to visit my new house and store on Thursday and we headed out on Friday. We met up with my other best friends Tracie and Courtney to eat at The Cheesecake Factory. YUMMMMY!! It is my favorite...mmmmmm orange chicken and sticky rice! We had so much fun catching up with each other. Normally the wait to get a table is almost 2 hours and we got in after about 30 minutes! Wahooo! Unfortunately we did not get a picture..which is weird because we usually photograph everything!
Saturday, Audra and I got up early and headed over to The Front Porch Cafe to set up for the shower. She got to visit with some extended family and friends. The food was so good and the strawberry amaretto cake was even better! Audra received lots of wonderful gifts and was so grateful. It was a great shower and I was honored to be able to give it to her. Here are a few pics from the shower!
The bride and myself
After the shower I went with Tracie to work on some wedding things and have dinner. Then...we went to visit one of the majorette alumni who just had a baby! Jamie invited us over to see little Ellie and she is the most precious little girl ever. Tracie, Jamie and myself decided it was about time for a majorette alumni to have a girl....everyone so far has had little boys! I know I am so excited for the future majorette!!! I was so grateful to be able to see Ellie and feed her!
