Christmas 2012

I hope you all had a joyful Christmas!  Poor little buddy was SO sick...Christmas Eve morning he spiked a fever and it was hard to get under control.  It hurt my heart to know that he did not feel well.  Grayson was a champ though and was in pretty good spirits considering what the thermometer read.

I was trying to get a picture of his cute pajamas but he was done with the day.

Christmas morning was a little rough because Grayson was up ALL night long :(
but once he saw the train table Santa brought....he perked right up!

Mimi and Pop Pop came for breakfast

Christmas night we went to Mimi and Pop Pop's house for dinner.
Gray received a video camera for Christmas and he was trying it out!
Daddy got it set up for him.

Tee hee...wonder where he has seen that before?

Oh that Aya haha

Aya and Grayson have their own game that they play together

It is tradition to get an Aya/Graybie picture every Christmas!

5 years!

Today Artie and I have been married for 5 years!

There were some days I didn't know if we were going to make it 5 years.
(Infertility and adoption are HARD on a marriage...can I get an Amen?)

Here is to the next 5 years....hopefully they will be a little more boring ;)
Happy Anniversary Artie!  I love you!

2012 Christmas Decor

Happy Christmas Eve Eve! I am a little late in posting these pics but I wanted to post them before Christmas.

When Artie and I got married/ I bought The Christmas Shop, I could not decide what colors I wanted on our Christmas tree.  At the shop, we had SO many beautiful trees so I had plenty of time to make an informed decision ;)   I decided I would do white and vintage silver for my main tree and do all colors in the kitchen.  I also picked blue and green for a tree in our bedroom but I did not put it up this year. ooops.

These are some of my favorite decorations
Sweet, vintage Cody Foster houses and
an Advent Calendar

These cards are just beautiful! (Naptime Diaries)

The detail on these house are amazing

Pictures do not do these deer justice!!!
They are stunning...ALL BEADED!

This year I decided to do black and white wrapping paper.
SO GLAD I did...

The tree in the kitchen...clearly need to add a few things ;)

My most favorite designer is Penny McCallister.
She passed away a few years ago so I will CHERISH her ornaments and decor.

Wedding Fun (kinda)

In October I was asked to shoot our friend's wedding and let me tell you, I NEVER want to do a wedding again.  Some people LOVE it.  Me?  Not so much.  If I didn't love this couple, I would have said no.   But I didn't say no and forged ahead.   I was seriously a nervous wreck all day.   Here are a few of the shots

I can't decide if I like these next two shots in black and white or color.
What do you think?

Here are pictures of my favorite guys!
Sweet boy was SO SO good!

I am so happy that they trusted me enough but seriously guys....never again.
